Launch of Ithihasa

Heritage Initiative will launch the inaugural edition of the quarterly journal 'Ithihasa' on July 26, at Mahaweli Centre Auditorium, Colombo.

The theme of the seminar is 'Enquiring Power behind Recollect and Imagination.’

Prof. Sudarshana Senevirathna will deliver the keynote address on the theme ‘Problems of Lankan History and Dread to History.’

The discussion panel comprises of Dr. Sunil Wijesiriwardhana, Dr. Nirmal Ranjith Devasiri, Prabha Manurathna, Ranjith Perera and Lakshman Gunasekara.

Heritage Initiative Research and Study

Heritage Initiative is currently studying the other histories that are out of the perimeters of current mainstream discourses. Heritage Initiative is researching the methodologies of disseminating the available knowledge to society.

Sinhala Heritage in Internet
